It’s not fair to assume that our Sunday was better than yours, but you’d be hard pressed to convince me otherwise. Aside from a few missed eats from excited trout sets on early morning gurglers, we couldn’t keep the fish off our flies today. My journey into guiding began in my early teens as a field guide and dog handler for an upland bird hunting outfitter based in the Texas Hill Country. This early experience sparked a lifelong dedication to outdoor adventures and exceptional customer service. After college, I took on a role managing a vast whitetail property in the greater Lockhart, TX area. Living full-time on the property, I cared for a large whitetail herd and oversaw thousands of acres.
