Yesterday was one of the best days I’ve had since starting my fishing career. 
Corey had never fly fished before. We started the day with casting lessons here at the compound and ended with a nice little schooly red to hand.  Throw in a boat tour of Matagorda island and the day was set. Look forward to getting Corey on the boat again and being a part of his fly fishing journey.

My journey into guiding began in my early teens as a field guide and dog handler for an upland bird hunting outfitter based in the Texas Hill Country. This early experience sparked a lifelong dedication to outdoor adventures and exceptional customer service. After college, I took on a role managing a vast whitetail property in the greater Lockhart, TX area. Living full-time on the property, I cared for a large whitetail herd and oversaw thousands of acres.
